              A form of Phyllostachys vivax , Height 6-10m, diameter 8-10cms, tall and powerful growth .

It differs from the original form in its complete sulphureous culm being interspersed with green longitudinal striae.

An excellent ornanmental species.

Hardy to -22¡ãC ( -9 ¡ãF).
