| Height 3 feet, diameter
0.3-0.5inch,inernode about 5 inches, area below joint heavily pruinose.
Culm wall thick, nearly solid; remnant of sheath base often attached to
sheath annulus; culm annulus flat; 5-15 branches on each node, sheath
shedding late, being about one half of the internode length; sheath
auricles falciform; sheath ligule short and low. Slightly down; leaves
lanceolate with 3-5 pairs of secondary veins and somewhat distinct
transverse veinlets. Shoot period May-June.
Distribution in China: Yunnan, Sichuan province, at
lower part of hill slopes, at an elevation of 1700m. กก |
